The only ayce for sushi that I've been was Aikan, so I don't have a lot of references to compare to, but the fish was super fresh and everything was delicious. They have a good variety and the the sushi's and dishes with rice came with little rice, which all my family appreciated, cause then we don't get full too fast. However, the service should be improved. Employees never smile and one of the ladies serving our table always threw the plates. It doesn't affect me wanting to go again for the delicious food, but I know the experience would be complete and perfect if the staff was in a better mood when attending the customers. Make sure you get the premium items first so you don't waste tummy space with other things.

Love this place so much for delicious AYCE sushi! Husband and I come here often when we're craving sushi.. a lot of sushi. Service is always quick and friendly here. We come so often though that we always just start with all the premium menu items which are limited to one piece per person. Then we always order the same fish each time. The mackerel is delicious, as are the seared salmon and seared yellowtail. We don't eat rolls much, and the sushi options are very limited so we've been trying to find another option to put into rotation so we don't get tired of this place. There's also free ice cream at the end, and they provide parking validation!

If you were asked, "What are the two best things in Japanese cuisine?" how would you answer? Japanese food is incredibly good--miso soup, pickled ginger, Chinese seaweed, tempura, even the California roll (which you can't find in Japan), and ramen (which Japanese people consider a Chinese dish). Everything is delicious; I can't even name a single dish that isn't good. But what are the two best? In my opinion, they must be sea urchin and bluefin tuna toro. Unfortunately, I didn't get to enjoy sea urchin or quality bluefin tuna toro during my New Year's Eve dinner at Here Fishy Fishy. First, they didn't have sea urchin that night. Second, while they did serve bluefin tuna, it wasn't toro. In fact, none of their dishes contained bluefin tuna toro, even though some items were labeled as "toro" they clearly weren't bluefin. I have to say, the food was worth the price for the AYCE at $54.99. They offered some items exclusive to the $54.99 AYCE, but these could only be ordered once. Naturally, we tried a round of everything from the exclusive items, though there was no sea urchin that day. Let's take a closer look. SCREAMING ORGASM 3/5 Seared Fatty Bluefin Tuna Sashimi with Screaming Sauce Too fatty. It was seared but served cold, which made the food even fattier. The taste was strange, though the flavor was okay. By the way, why is it called Screaming Sauce? I don't get it; the sauce was so flat and mild. ORANGE SALMON 2/5 Salmon Sashimi with Orange Ponzu Sauce The flavor diminished the freshness of the salmon. It was acceptable but not surprising. BLUEFIN TUNA POKE 4/5 Red Onion, Seaweed Salad, and Furikake, Sesame Oil It tasted good. The tuna dices paired well with the Chinese seaweed, and the seasoning was well-balanced. DOUBLE TROUBLE 0/5 Minced Toro Sushi with Black Truffle Salt and Kizami Wasabi The texture was horrible--it made me think it was sous vide beef. Later, I checked the menu and realized it was supposed to be toro, some fish's toro. Why ruin fish like this? SPIDER MAN 5+/5 Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab with Carrot Purée Excellent, one of the best soft shell crabs I've ever had. The carrot purée didn't taste like carrot, but it didn't matter. The frying technique was exceptional, and the sauce was delicious. AWABI 5/5 Butter Seared Abalone Sashimi with Kizami Wasabi Very good. The abalone was incredibly tender, which is not easy to achieve. IKURA 5/5 Salmon Roe Sushi Very good. The seaweed wrap was crispy--a must for gunkan sushi. The salmon roe was also very fresh. AMA EBI 5/5 Sweet Shrimp with Smelt Eggs * No Rice Good. It tasted sweet. HARASU 3/5 Salmon Belly Sushi with Kizami Wasabi It was okay, but I've had better. TORO 2/5 Tuna Belly Sushi with Kizami Wasabi Okay, you might trick someone into thinking it's tuna toro, but it's obviously not bluefin tuna toro. Even the color was noticeably different from bluefin tuna toro. HOTATE 5/5 Jumbo Scallop Sashimi with Kizami Wasabi and Smelt Eggs Very good-fresh, soft, juicy, and tender. HIRAME 3/5 Halibut Sushi with Yuzu Kosho Paste In the past, fresh halibut was hard to come by, but nowadays it's easy. However, live farmed halibut is different from wild-caught halibut. The items above are part of the $54.99 AYCE specials. Now, let's take a look at the regular menu items. SUSHI TACO (SALMON/SHRIMP/TUNA) 4/5 This was an interesting dish. We thought it would use large seaweed as the tortilla, but it didn't. Instead, it was a mini-sized fried tortilla, making it a hard-shell taco stuffed with minced salmon. Very interesting, worth trying. AGEDASHI TOFU 5/5 The flavor and texture were excellent. Strongly recommended. BULGOGI 3/5 This was stir-fried, marinated sweet beef slices. It was good, but I rated it 3 because the Spicy Pork Bulgogi was better. SHRIMP TEMPURA 4/5 The frying technique was very good-light and crispy. A solid dish. SPICY PORK BULGOGI 4/5 Very tasty. It was clearly marinated with gochujang and sugar, then stir-fried. Good flavor and tender texture. CALAMARI TEMPURA 3/5 It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't recommend it. There are better options available. VEGETABLE TEMPURA I didn't try this, but I would guess it is good. TAKOYAKI 2/5 The sauce was too salty, the texture was strange, and there was very little octopus. Not recommended. JALAPENO BOMB 4/5 Recommended. It had a good taste and was not the usual fare. EEL SUSHI 4/5 Very good, if you still have room to enjoy it. OTHER GOOD THINGS 999+/5 The rice in all the sushi was served in small portions, which is rare for AYCE sushi. Most AYCE sushi relies on rice to fill you up, but not here. Trust me, it's worth the price, even though there were areas for improvement. For example, they served the wrong items several times. Once, they even served us something incorrectly, took it back, and then served it to another table. Anyway, the food tasted good, and the price was excellent. I will definitely be back. By the way, it wasn't crowded even on New Year's Eve. I don't think

The staff was rushed and appeared understaffed. I did notice better service was given to tables where the guests spoke the language of the server. However the stars are for the food! We went during lunch and we spent about $110 including tax and tip for the two all you can eat meals and it is a great deal! I adored the mussels and baby scallops. At the end you can select one small scoop of ice cream and those were light, airy and flavorful. The fish came out pretty swiftly within 10-20 minutes of ordering. It tasted flavorful and out of the around 20 dishes we tried,I enjoyed almost all. Overall a great budget all you can eat place. Only improvement would be treating all guests the same regardless of how they look or what they speak.

Some of the best AYCE sushi I've had! Most items came out super quickly - we ordered mainly nigiri, and the fish-to-rice ratio was perfect. Just very pleasant and smooth experience overall. Also looks super trendy and modern inside, and they provide 2 hours of parking validation. The parking structure entrance is on Oxford. I've already recommended to a few friends!

Overall, I was satisfied with the food. However, the cleanliness and location definitely needs work. The special sushi are one time only per person. Handroll had decent amount of fish. The nigiri was decent in size with fish being generous and rice was proportionate to the size. Had a lot of water while eating and later in the day. The rolls were tasty but mostly, if not all, were either crabmeat and spicy tuna. No whole fish rolls. Best bet is to get nigiri and handrolls. Appetizers were a miss, lack luster. Would only come back for nigiri sushi and handrolls.

Food was good. Definitely worth the price. Service was quick and kept coming around multiple times to ask what we wanted for the next round making the 90 minute duration worth it. Make sure to read the menu before going because premium items are one time only order. I would def try one of each of those if you can. The bluefin poke was just okay, I would only order one to share. Corn cheese was good and you have to eat it right away, if you wait for it to cool off, the cheese hardens a bit. We had a choice between Sapporo 12oz or 60oz and to get the price worth it grabbed the 60 to share between two people. They have ice cream (vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, green tea) for dessert so make sure to ask. It's not on the menu . They don't have any juice but do have high chairs for babies. FYI- The bathroom does NOT have a changing table. I believe they have a parking lot but we weren't able to find the entrance to it and my husband just found street parking close by.

I had the BEST experience here! AYCE is priced very fairly (you DO NOT want cheap AYCE sushi) and the quality is fantastic. I am usually very picky with my seafood as I can't stand the fishy taste, but I did not have that problem here. The portion sizes are also very generous, and they give very small segments of rice (I sometimes even wished there was MORE rice). The staff were also very friendly and came often to check up on our table. I really recommend & can't wait to come back!

While on vacation, we were looking for an AYCE Sushi spot and found this one on Yelp with great reviews. Parking was a little confusing but not a problem at all. Waze got us there and we ended up finding street parking a block away as soon as we got there. Garage parking is located on the street prior which is connected to the building. We walked over and found it on the street level of the building. It seemed a little sketch as there were numerous unsheltered people in the open courtyard area and two were doing drugs right there in the open. When you walk into the restaurant, you feel as though you aren't even in that kind of area. The restaurant is nice and modern with cool lighting. We had made a reservation, arrived about 1 hour earlier and was able to get seated right away. The hostess and our server were awesome. Our server checked on us many times assuring that we were able to order what we wanted and that our drinks were topped off. The food was amazing. The fish was fresh and everything was so so good. Great quality for what you pay. The price is $54.99 per person. It is on the pricier side but worth it if you want AYCE Sushi. I usually pay $38.99 in Vegas for the same quality at my fav AYCE but I would still pay for this. It is a definitely must go to and I will return when in LA!

This is the best place for AYCE sushi! The portions are big and everything is very good quality. They also have ice cream. I definitely recommend this place if you are craving lots of sushi. The staff was super nice and the sushi came out pretty quickly.
